The first time I looked at this drawing I honestly thought it was a photograph. The beauty and elegance of the scene was so realistic that I did not believe that it could be anything but a photograph.

I still think this to a large degree. However, as I started looking closer there were a few aspects that stood out to me.

The first would have to be the leaves, which I am sure another has touched on. In comparison to the detail and depth of the butterfly, the leaves are somewhat lacking. Their texture seems more of a pasted drawing to a 3D model, although, this can be corrected easily. The most noticeable would be the leaf in the centre. In comparison to the other leaves, which look somewhat more realistic because of the effective use of lighting, it is quite poor. But, if that is the most I, and no doubt others, can fault about the leaves then you do not have any need to worry.

My other concern is the glass texture of the bottle. To me, the image you can see through it does not completely seem like what it would. However, the creation and rendering is overall rather impressive.

I particularly like the butterfly. There is no other word besides perfect to describe it. The gracefully and delicate form is portrayed beautifully in the warm sunlight.

Overall, I love the piece. If the errors are altered slightly then I could not fault it anywhere. You are very talented and I cannot wait to see your next work.
